Dates are always month/day/year

Records shows and asks for dates the American way, MM/DD/YYYY, on every screen, notice, email and PDF, whatever the regional settings of your computer say.

Where to find it

Every date on every screen, and every date field

  1. Reading: 09/19/2026 is September 19, 2026. Long dates spell the month out.
  2. Typing: a date field takes the digits and places the slashes for you — type 09192026 and you get 09/19/2026. The small calendar button opens a picker if you prefer clicking.
  3. A date that does not exist (13/45/2026) turns the field red until you fix it; nothing is saved with a wrong date.

When the paper only shows month and year

CPR cards and some licenses print the expiration as "10/2027", with no day. Where an expiration is typed (the date band over the paper, the placing window, the worker's upload), tap "The paper only shows month and year": the field becomes MM/YYYY and the calendar picks a month. You only ever see the month and year; the day is kept by the system: an expiration is valid through the last day of that month, and the date something was done counts from the 1st. Nobody has to invent a day. And the row shows it the way the paper does — "Current · 10/2027" — while the system knows inside that it runs through the 31st. When the system reads a month-and-year expiration on its own, it proposes that same end-of-month date and you confirm it as usual.
