Trial and monthly subscription

Records: 14 days from activation, without a card or automatic charge. Payroll (alone or with Records): paid to get in, with a 30-day guarantee.

Where to find it

Activation and expiration dates are stored in the database. Reloading or changing devices does not restart the trial.
The account owner sees remaining time and Activate subscription. Invited workers do not purchase accounts.
When the trial ends, your files and read access remain. To continue editing documents, the owner activates the monthly subscription in Stripe.
Returning from Stripe does not confirm payment by itself. The system waits for provider confirmation before activating the subscription.
The money-back guarantee starts with the first payment and does not extend the free trial: 14 days with Records only, 30 days if the first payment included Payroll.
Payroll has no free trial: it is paid when the account is activated (or when it is added). Until it is paid, Payroll lets you look but not work, and its notice at the top says "complete your payment".
