AHCA cited you: register the citation and correct in time

Upload the letter, the system reads the codes it cites and marks the rows to correct, with the legal deadlines counting: 30 days to respond and 10 days if they ask for a plan of correction.

Where to find it

Export → "Register AHCA citation" (only on the agency's file)

  1. Export → "Register AHCA citation". Step 1, the letter: "Choose the letter" (PDF or photo). "Reading the letter — usually half a minute" and then "I found N codes and marked them". No letter at hand? "Continue and mark the codes myself".
  2. Step 2: "What day did AHCA notify you?" (the 30-day clock starts there), tick "The letter asks for a plan of correction" if it does (10 days), check the cited codes and "Register citation".
  3. From then on the agency's file shows "N cited by AHCA · correct before {date}" and each cited row says "missing the corrected paper" or "check the paper you uploaded". Upload the corrected paper on the row and it turns to "corrected".
Tip

The letter stays archived in its own row of the agency's file, so the proof of the citation travels with the delivery.
