The patient's signature: in person or with a link

Consents and agreements need the patient's signature. The usual way: you hand him the device and he signs with his finger, you as witness. If he cannot, his representative signs and the sheet records who and why.

Where to find it

While filling an office sheet of a patient → "The patient signs in person" / "Send to the patient to sign"

  1. Fill the sheet as usual. At the signature step choose "The patient signs in person": the pad "Patient signature — hand the device to the patient" opens.
  2. "The patient signs" or "The representative signs": for the representative, type "Name of who signs", "Relationship with the patient" and "Reason why the patient cannot sign". The law asks to record it.
  3. He draws his signature ("Clear" to repeat). You press "Sign and archive": the sheet enters the file with both signatures.
  4. If the patient is not in front of you, "Send to the patient to sign" sends a link to his email; "Waiting for the patient's signature" lets you "Resend link" or "Cancel and edit again".
Please note

The patient never gets a portal, requests or reminders: only this one-time signature link, sent by the office, for a sheet the office already completed.
