Where to find it
Open the PATIENT file: there is no "Request documents" and no portal
A patient never receives an upload link, an email or a text message, and never fills or signs anything at a distance. Everything in a patient’s file is done by the agency — the office, or the worker with the patient in front of her.
How the patient’s papers get in
- Their papers (identification, insurance, physician orders) are uploaded by the agency from inside their file.
- Their sheets are filled by the office, or by the nurse in the home, on the sheet itself.
- Where a sheet asks for the patient’s signature, the device is handed to the patient and they sign with their finger, right there.
- If someone signs for them, the system records who signed and in what capacity — the signature is never anonymous.
Tip
This is not a setting: the system will refuse to send anything to a patient, so nothing can be sent by mistake.
