Where to find it
The paper viewer → "Split the documents"; a placed paper → row → "Edit" → "Split the documents"
- Press "Split". The first time, "How it is done" walks you through it; "Skip" if you already know.
- Draw a box around each paper (drag). Adjust the corners; "Remove this box" if you drew one too many.
- For each box, "Change" picks its row ("Which row does … go to?" → "Assign to this row"). Two boxes for the same row come out together as one document (front and back, for example).
- A sheet that is not needed: "This sheet is extra". Press "Split and archive each paper in its row". The original sheet stays saved.
The file knows how big each paper is
A training certificate or diploma is one sheet; a card (CPR, driver license, Social Security, passport or resident card, patient ID) is two at most, front and back; a license verification printout is one; federal forms have their exact pages. If a document arrives with more sheets than its paper measures, it does not turn green quietly: it is never placed by itself, and once placed the row says it with the numbers — "This paper is 1 sheet and this document has 2. Is it right as is, or do we separate them?" — with "Split the documents" right there. "Yes, it is the right one" closes the question. Agency forms and free-length papers (resume, physical exam, screening, policies, notes) have no fixed size: the file learns them from what you confirm.
