Urgent notices (something that did not go out and needs fixing) appear at the top in amber; the rest appear in white. Each notice says what happened, whose it is and the detail; the dot marks what you have not seen and “Mark all as read” removes the dots without deciding anything. The bell shows one “Rates to review” notice even when several rates need attention: with one, it says which worker and patient, what HHA said, what it says now and your Leymax rate; with several, how many and the first names. Open it to see them all together, one row per pair: “Keep” your rate or “Use” the report rate (using it asks from which cycle it applies), or “Keep all as they are” with one click. Opening or closing the notice never changes a rate; rates change only when you save. The full decision is saved at once and calculation continues in the background; the bell updates automatically. If that work cannot finish after its retries, one clear notice appears so it can be tried again. Other Payroll notices are also grouped by the task that needs your attention. “A Payroll invitation email failed”: the owner can resend it from My account → Team; if the notice says Payroll is not active, tapping it takes you to My account → Membership to activate it first. “The connection to your visit system stopped”: your visit system rejected the user or asked for a code, and we could not notify you by email either; tap it to go to Connections and check the username and password. These notices can be opened even while your plan is awaiting payment. The strip at the top only appears when everything finished well (for example, the period you uploaded is processed), with a button to see it; while it is processing, the progress shows in Uploads. It also appears if your access to your visit system needs checking.

The bell and the notices at the top
The bell keeps what needs your decision (rates, pays waiting for your approval, what was returned to you); the strip at the top follows what you upload and asks for what is needed.
