A file you no longer use: archive it (there is no delete)

A person who left, a patient who was discharged, a file created by mistake: you archive it. Nothing is deleted, it leaves the active list and stops counting, and you can restore it whenever you want. There is no "delete file" button, on purpose.

On a phone the file is read-only; on a tablet you work as on a computer

A tablet — upright or sideways — shows the same system as a computer: the dashboard with its figures, the Files list, and an open file with its index of rows on the left and the paper on screen, ready to work. On any screen, the panel button at the top of the index hides it so the paper fills the screen, and the same button, at the start of the bar above the paper, brings it back exactly as it was; each device remembers your choice. With the tablet upright, that bar shows the full name of the paper with its status underneath, and below a line the buttons together, with the page count on the right. On a phone (or a very small window) you can see the list, open a file, read its folders and look at any paper; working it (placing, filling, signing, exporting) is done on a tablet or a computer. The screen switches by width, so enlarging the window is enough.
